On the down side, it lacks depth in many places, it tends to over-emphasise the more sensationalist elements and – with a few notable exceptions – unless research has been carried out in the USA it tends not to be mentioned or discussed in the book. He is the author of Criminal Profiling: It has case files and photos included in it.

This book will not turn the reader into an instant criminwl, but it arguably does provide more information on how profiles can be tudvey from crime scene evidence than most other publications.
